The Cornerstone Community evolved out of the cross-community Clonard Prayer Group. Situated in West Belfast, the Cornerstone Community is a small group of Protestant and Catholic Christians.
There are sixteen members (men and women), some of whom live in the Community House on the 'Peace Line' between the areas of the Falls and the Shankill. The rest live and / or work locally and represent all social, economic and religious backgrounds.
The symbolic value of being together in the midst of polarisation is considered to be the Community's most important feature and is held up as a sign of hope
